Make a difference.

You know the ad - where one person smiles and it gets passed around and has an influence on lots of other people. Same concept with one small card, or one 6x6 layout...

I've just signed up to make a card and send it to Lois who has cancer. Read about it here at Wilna's blog.

At first I thought I'd join in 'cause they are wanting cards from all over the world and then I thought wouldn't it be neat if they got not just one card from little old me in NZ but lots of cards from scrappers and cardmakers all over NZ. So - make a card, send it over and spread a little cheer throughout the world.

And then there's the Southern Cross Kids Camp 6x6 layouts that Nic and Trina are co-ordinating from the NZ side of things. I know a lot of you have already done heaps of these. I wrote a bit about why I support this project over at the Fiskars blog. And have you kept up with the Fiskars blog today? There has been like a million posts go up to celebrate Children's Day and the SCKC project. And there is even a RAK on offer - but you gotta be in before midnight Aus time.

And in a moment of domestic goddessness ... I made cupcakes!

Not sure what kind of difference that made to the world...

The cupcakes just look fantastic on your new stand - might just have to take a look for one of those.

Your layouts look great too.

The 6 x 6 layouts look terrific Beverley - but those cupcakes look "to die for" They look sensational, and oh so pretty in your new cupcake stand.

Oh - I'm so jealous you got that stand on clearance! I looked at it longingly in Spotlight the other day but couldn't quite justify breaking out the cash for it! LOL!
